Hi, I'm Elizabeth.

I'm an interior designer in Fayetteville, West Virginia, at the edge of the New River Gorge. I design rooms and tell you what's in them and whether I'd buy it again.

How I got here

I moved to Fayetteville in 2013. Before the rentals I ran an interior design blog, owned a breakfast-and-coffee restaurant, and built websites for other people. In 2018 I started hosting.

I've designed eight vacation rentals since then, and I run four of them now: Maple & Main, DT Bungalow, Gorge Getaway and Adventure Haven. Those four houses are where most of the rooms on this site come from.

Why that matters to you

Guests use everything, and they tell me about it. More than five hundred five-star reviews later, I've replaced enough sofas, mattresses, blackout curtains and coffee makers to know which ones were worth the money. I don't need you to care about the rentals. I just want you to know that when I say I'd buy something again, I've had the chance to find out.

How I make money, plainly
