As you may have noticed, over the past few weeks I have been posting a lot about art. It has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I am excited to announce that yesterday I launched Heirloom Ink Art Co!
Heirloom Ink Art Co. is an online shop where you will find high quality, timeless art pieces that will add unique style and flair to your home or workspace, for an affordable price. Currently, we offer over 65 striking art prints, with more coming daily. The best part, besides offering beautiful, quality prints, for an affordable price, is that they are available to use immediately after purchase. Simply download them from the website, and print them at home, or your local printer.
My Story
During my home renovation, I realized that finding the perfect vintage look, while staying on budget was incredibly challenging. This started my wheels spinning, and the concept for Heirloom Ink Art Co. was born.
Art is the soul of the home. It should inspire you and express your values to evoke true emotions. To find the perfect piece, often takes time, a lot of money, and a lot of thought. But it doesn’t have to be as complicated or as difficult as some people make it out to be. My goal at Heirloom Ink Art Co. is to make beautiful works of art that could not only be affordable, but accessible to all home decor enthusiasts.
How it Works
Heirloom Ink Art Co. is a digital print shop, specializing in timeless, vintage prints available to download for $15. We search art from all over the world to find vintage pieces that clients will continue to love for years to come. Immediately after purchase, you will receive a link with a folder to download your images. From there, you can print them at home, send them to your local Walgreens, Walmart, or Staples to print, or print a high-quality print from Finer Works.
Which sizes can I print?
Your download includes four image files, which represent four different printing ratios.
24×36 inches (2:3 ratio for printing 4×6 / 6×9 / 8×12 /10×15 / 12×18/ 24×36 )
15×20 inches (3:4 ratio for printing 3×4 / 6×8 / 9×12 / 12×16 /15×20 )
16×20 inches (4:5 ratio for printing 4×5 / 8×10 / 16×20 )
5×7 inches (5:7 ratio for printing)
Using these ratios you can print your artwork to fit most standard frame sizes without cropping. Each image file is in the download is sized to the largest print size we recommend to ensure the highest quality. If you need a custom size, we are happy to set up a custom order for you.
We are currently offering digital downloads, but we are in the process of finding the right printer to offer fine-art prints as well. These prints will be printed on museum-quality paper and shipped directly to you.
Where can I print my file?
For everyday printing, we recommend Staples, Walgreens, FedEx Kinko’s, Costco, or Walmart. Print your artwork on photo paper with a satin finish for the best results.
For high-quality art printing, you will want to use acid-free archival paper or giclee paper. We recommend having your prints printed through Finer Works.
- For a smooth, high-quality print, use Archival Matte paper.
- For a textured, high-quality print, use Archival Canvas paper.
- For a watercolor print, use Watercolor Bright White paper.
- For canvas prints, we recommend Finer Works. Use an archival-quality canvas for best results.
