As I am sure you all will agree, decorating for the holidays is always exciting (and somewhat stressful). This year, it has been such a joy to spread the Christmas cheer on the blog all month. In early December, I kicked off the season with Simple and Stylish Christmas Ideas for 2018. Then, I shared an easy DIY for making your own garland. Finally, I decked the halls of my house for Christmas and shared the Christmas tour. In additon to decorating ideas I posted holiday recipes, and gift ideas as well. You can read all of the holiday posts here. However, as we roll into the final week before Christmas I thought it would be fun to bring in the big guns for some last-minute holiday ideas.
Who are the big guns you ask? When I say big guns, I am referring to Pinterest. Pinterest does a ton of research throughout the year to determine popular trends and holiday trends are one of their specialities. In their 2018 holi-YAY report, they claim that, starting as early as July, over 62 million people come to Pinterest to begin gathering holiday ideas. Can you believe that!? Over 235 million boards about holiday ideas are created on Pinterest. With all of that said, today and Friday I am sharing the top holiday ideas that Pinterest pinners have been searching for this year!
